Phillies at the plate: Jayson Werth drove in Philadelphia's lone run with a third-inning single, bringing home Jimmy Rollins, who had doubled. Chase Utley tripled and Wes Helms had a double for Philadelphia.

Yankees at the plate: Alex Rodriguez hit his third home run of the spring in the first inning, crushing a drive beyond the left-field wall for a three-run blast. Doug Mientkiewicz added a two-run double in the fifth, just his fifth hit of the spring. Robinson Cano also had a double for New York.

Phillies on the mound: Zack Segovia made his second start of the spring, both of which have come against the Yankees. The right-hander settled in after allowing three runs in the first, blanking New York over the next three frames before being touched for a pair of runs in the fifth. Overall, the right-hander allowed five runs (four earned) and three hits in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two in a 74-pitch effort. Matt Smith pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings and Ryan Madson blanked the Yankees for an inning.

Yankees on the mound: In his fifth exhibition start of the spring, Kei Igawa limited Philadelphia to one run and three hits over five innings. The left-hander increased his team-leading strikeout total to 19 with four whiffs. He walked just two, though he insisted after the 87-pitch outing that his changeup needed more work. Reliever Brian Bruney struck out three in one inning.

Grapefruit League records: Phillies 9-16; Yankees 13-10-2.

Up next: The Yankees travel to Fort Myers, Fla., to face the Twins on Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. ET. Right-hander Carl Pavano is scheduled to start for New York, with right-hander Boof Bonser going for Minnesota.

The Phillies host the Reds in Clearwater, Fla., with first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Left-hander Jamie Moyer is scheduled to start for Philadelphia, with right-hander Kyle Lohse getting the nod for Cincinnati.
